What are the responsibilities and job description for the MWMS - ELA Teacher 2026-27 position at Mt. Washington Middle School?
MWMS is looking for a caring, student centered teacher. who is a great collaborator, wonderful team player and flexible. This individual will be one who is driven by the desire to help students grow and be successful. This individual must have a strong content background as well as a deep understanding of student centered learning pedagogy. They must be a team player and flexible. The successful candidate will not only understand Kentucky Core Academic Standards, they will have a good understanding of recovery and differentiation.
Applicants must hold a valid Kentucky Certification in Middle Grades English/Language Arts (ELA) or Secondary English, along with meeting all other Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) employment requirements.
This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.
