Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time Office Assistant who is passionate about building the local church and creating a welcoming, life-giving environment for every person who connects with our office. This role serves as the front door of our church throughout the week—answering phones, managing communication, and helping keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly. The right person will bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a heart to serve both our team and our church family. This is a part-time, hourly position, with additional opportunity to support and strengthen church-wide communication
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones with warmth and professionalism
- Help create a friendly and organized office environment for staff, volunteers, and guests
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing mail
- Keep office supplies stocked and systems organized
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Help maintain basic records and filing systems
Skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
- Display strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- Basic knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Planning Center Online is preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
