What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide position at Mt. Vernon Alternative Learning Center?
This position is for a classroom paraprofessional that assists students with academics in the classroom, helps to maintain a positive learning environment, and assists with other duties as needed. This position will likely involve serving lunch to students and possibly driving students to and from school in a 7 passenger mini van.

Work hours are from 8:00am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, during the school year.
This is a full-time position that includes health, dental, and vision insurance. IMRF retirement is also included.
