What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) position at Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology?
Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine & Dermatology is a well-established clinic looking for a Family ARNP (board certified) to join our team in Bellingham, WA. We are an independent, ARNP-only clinic that opened 16 years ago. Our four nurse practitioners provide primary care, gender-affirming care, gynecology care, and dermatology services for patients of all ages.
In this role, you will build your own patient panel and use your medical training to its full potential. We are a busy, locally owned clinic that is compassionate toward our patients and committed to our work.
Our providers see 16-18 patients per day and receive 2 hours of paid administrative time per week. We offer strong paid time off benefits and flexibility to help you balance your personal life with your profession. Our clinic is a fun, supportive team environment where we often laugh together, and we hold family gatherings a couple of times a year.
We are located in a brand-new building at the Cornwall Medical Center and do not often have job openings. Our clinic works alongside the massage center and chiropractic businesses on site and has an excellent reputation in the region, separate from larger entities and corporations. This is an opportunity to join a respected clinic where supporting work-life balance is a priority.
1-2 years of experience is recommended, though highly motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
Mission Statement:
At MSFMD, we strive to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for people of all ages throughout the spectrum of life, regardless of gender identity, age, or race.
Values:
i. We maintain a professional working environment that respects the privacy of our employees and patients.
ii. We do our best to provide a working environment that supports our busy lives.
iii. We strive to create a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and adapt to improvements or changes needed to provide excellence in what we do.
iv. We make every effort to provide superior, comprehensive care for our patients as a locally owned clinic where ARNPs focus on treating the patient in a holistic manner.
This is an opportunity for an ARNP to start building their practice over time in our ARNP-only clinic, with their own panel of patients.
