Position Overview

The Marketing Rehash Representative is a call-center-style sales and appointment-setting position focused primarily on re-engaging our existing customer database.

Your main responsibility will be to contact past and current customers whose previous appointments did not result in a closed sale and identify opportunities to reconnect them with our remodeling solutions.

This is not traditional cold calling. You will be speaking with homeowners who have already demonstrated an interest in a home improvement project. Your job is to build rapport, understand whether their needs or circumstances have changed, and schedule a new appointment with one of our sales representatives when there is an opportunity.

The ultimate goal is simple: keep our sales representatives' calendars full of qualified appointments and maximize opportunities that already exist within our customer database.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is confident, persistent, personable, competitive, and comfortable talking with homeowners over the phone.

You should enjoy talking to people, be motivated by goals, and understand that successful rehashing is about more than simply making calls; it is about creating a reason for the customer to take another look at a project they previously considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to past and current customers.
• Reconnect with homeowners who previously received an estimate or met with a sales representative but did not move forward.
• Identify changes in customer needs, timing, budget, project scope, or interest.
• Generate and schedule qualified rehash appointments for our sales team.
• Work consistently to keep the sales team's appointment schedule booked.
• Follow up with customers according to established call and follow-up procedures.
• Clearly communicate current products, services, promotions, and available opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with homeowners while providing an excellent customer experience.
• Accurately document call outcomes, customer information, and appointment details in the company CRM.
• Confirm appointments and help reduce cancellations and no-shows.
• Work closely with the sales team and management to identify additional opportunities.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly calling and appointment-setting goals.
• Maintain professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude throughout every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and/or a call-center-type position is REQUIRED.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
• Confident asking questions and overcoming common customer objections.
• Ability to stay positive and motivated when faced with rejection.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, including Salesforce, and basic computer software.
• Reliable, coachable, competitive, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Home improvement, remodeling, roofing, windows, doors, siding, or bath/shower industry experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $17-$25/hour, based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses
• Tuesday-Friday: 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Sunday & Monday: OFF
