Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and detail-oriented individual to join our First Impressions Team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in setting the tone for their visit and ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, both in person and over the phone.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accuracy in scheduling and records.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Assist with insurance verification and basic billing questions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information.
- Proficiency in using office technology, including scheduling software (experience with optometry-specific systems is a plus) and Microsoft Office.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a bonus but not required.
