Job Overview
We are currently hiring one team member to join our practice in a front desk and/or optical role. This position is intentionally flexible, as final placement will be determined after interviews based on experience, strengths, interest, and team needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, values teamwork, and is open to learning and growing within an optometry practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical administrative procedures, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient service.
Duties
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Create a warm and welcoming first impression for patients
- Schedule appointments and manage phone calls
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Verify insurance and collect payments
- Maintain clear communication with patients and team members
Optical Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame selection and lens options
- Educate patients on eyewear solutions that fit their needs
- Take basic optical measurements (training provided)
- Enter and track eyewear orders
- Support patients with adjustments and follow-ups
Final responsibilities will include one area.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information.
- Proficiency in using office technology, including scheduling software (experience with optometry-specific systems is a plus).
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting, is a bonus but not required
