We are a Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade district with three Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and one Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grade Dependent Charter School. Nestled in the East Foothills of San Jose, we prepare approximately 1,500 students for high school, college, and careers. Job Summary
Under the direction of the SELPA Director, the SELPA Program Administrator shall provide support and assistance to school district special education personnel and families regarding program development, legal technical assistance and instructional strategies. Facilitate educational placements in alignment with the mandates outlined in Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Requirements / Qualifications
Preferred: - A valid California Special Education credential or credential authorizing specialized services - Administration credential or enrolled in Administration program. - Masters Degree in Special Education -Three years of experience in the area of Special Education - Minimum of five years teaching or equivalent experience Required: - A valid California teaching credential - Administration credential - A valid California driver’s license
