We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a high-volume, fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels at troubleshooting, prioritizing work, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Essential Functions
Requires technical or specialized training or education in mechanical maintenance equal to 2 years college or technical school. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Five to seven years experience in mechanical processes and tools and good working knowledge of production processes and equipment. Working knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations (federal, state, EEOC, ESC, FDA, EPA, OSHA, etc.). Knowledge of personal computers and related software needed. Must speak, read and write in English.
Must demonstrate aptitude to manage people, set example by own conduct and work habits, make prompt and competent decisions, use authority wisely and maintain discipline, morale and teamwork at high standard.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Exercises normal supervisory functions over small group of Maintenance Technicians.
Machines, Equipment, Tools Used
Personal computer, standard office equipment, hand and power tools, forklift, own or company vehicle.
Physical Demands
Office, plant, and shop conditions as well as occasional but often lengthy exposure to outside conditions.. Long work days and workweeks required. Access to certain confidential data.

Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Oversees and directs installation, maintenance and repair of production equipment and other mechanical equipment on one shift. Assists employees with complex equipment problems or with major equipment failures, repairs or overhauls.
- Follows up and assures all work is being completed on time and accurately.
- Makes sure any mechanical shutdown situation is handled as quickly & correctly as possible, using established DIN procedures.
- Directs preventive maintenance to be performed on a regular basis.
- Works closely with supervisors in production departments to help solve problems & make needed equipment improvements.
- Maintains appropriate computerized and paper files on pertinent information.
- Maintains areas of operation in a safe and sanitary manner. Makes effective use of and makes recommendations on physical assets. Determines that established safety rules, Company policy and good housekeeping are followed.
- May occasionally perform some duties of Stockroom Attendant in absence of same.
- Coordinates with other departments to assure cooperation and timely completion of projects. Communicates and cooperates with other members of management to maintain productive and harmonious working relationships.
- May operate forklift in some job duties.
- Occasionally drives own or company vehicle in performance of some job duties.
- Ensures proper selection, training, evaluation, and discipline of and communication with employees.
- Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate.
