Community Manager – Manufactured Home Community
We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee Mt. Morris Highlands, a 645 site, manufactured home community in Genesee County. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, sales, and leasing skills, along with a proven background in residential property management. Experience managing a manufactured home community is required. If you do not have any experience managing a manufactured home community, please do not apply.
Responsibilities include:
· Foster positive relationships with residents and staff
· Collect monthly rent and manage delinquencies, including evictions
· Drive occupancy through resident retention and new resident acquisition
· Occupy all community owned homes including rentals and sales of same
· Conduct regular property, grounds, and quarterly rental home inspections, issuing violations when necessary to tenants
· Manage financial operations and adhere to approved budgets. Manage office staff.
· Manage maintenance staff and oversee work order completion
* Coordinate bringing in new factory built homes including vendors, contractors, suppliers and marketing.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of manufactured housing property management experience
· Demonstrated strong leadership and management capability
· Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and resolve issues efficiently
· Working knowledge of federal, state, and local fair housing and employment laws
· Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and property management software (e.g., Rent Manager, Manage America)
· High school diploma required; college degree preferred
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (background and credit checks required)
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary, sales, rental home and collection bonuses paid monthly, paid vacation and sick time, and cell phone reimbursement.
