Mt. Morris Family Dental is seeking a highly motivated person to join our growing team!

This is a part-time position: 2 days a week
Pay: determined by experience and qualifications
Duties:
- Welcome patients and visitors to the office in person and on the telephone, answering inquiries or referring questions to other team members.
- Schedule appointments for the clinical team to optimize patient care and satisfaction, provider time and most effective use of examination and treatment rooms.
- Prepares a daily schedule of examinations for each provider.
- Create and maintain patient files, making sure informed consents, financial contracts, HIPAA forms, and medical histories are up to date.
- Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Assists patients with insurance information and billing questions.
- Work with centralized billing to assure patient ledgers and insurance ledgers are accurate and up to date.
- Contact patients and insurance companies to discuss patient accounts.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner in compliance with HIPPA regulations.
