Job Overview:
Mount Lebanon Elementary School is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Elementary Library Media Specialist to lead our school library program. This role is essential in fostering a love of reading, teaching information literacy, and supporting both students and staff in effectively using print and digital resources.
The Library Media Specialist creates an engaging and welcoming learning environment while collaborating with teachers and paraeducators to integrate literacy, research skills, and technology into the curriculum across all grade levels (i.e., Pre-K through 4th grade).
Candidates must have a passion for literature, collaboration, and working with young children.
The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch. This position would fall under the Lebanon Education Association (Teacher’s Union).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education is required.
- NH Library Media Specialist Certification (0036) required.
