Taekwondo Before and After School Counselor

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic School Program Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing a supportive and engaging environment for students, fostering their growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess skills in classroom management, childcare, and tutoring. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with students during program activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Assist with classroom management, maintaining order and discipline while encouraging positive behavior.
• Provide support for students with special needs, adapting activities as necessary to ensure inclusivity.
• Facilitate group discussions, tutoring sessions, and one-on-one support as required.
• Collaborate with other staff members to plan and execute camp-style activities that promote teamwork and social skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong skills in classroom management to foster a productive learning environment.
• Familiarity with daycare practices, babysitting, or special education is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Passion for tutoring and helping students achieve their academic goals.
