Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and inspiring Worship Leader to guide and elevate our congregation’s spiritual experience through music and leadership. Duties
- Lead praise and worship music during church services, ensuring a dynamic and spiritually uplifting atmosphere
- Select appropriate music that aligns and enhances the message of each service
- Conduct rehearsals with church choirs, bands, and musical teams to prepare for weekly services and special events
- Manage musical productions, including sound checks, instrument setups, and technical coordination for live performances
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and management of music teams to foster growth and teamwork
- Conduct praise band rehearsals, manage musical arrangements, and ensure high-quality musical performance during services
Experience
- Proven experience leading church service musical performances with a strong background in vocal music and instrumental accompaniment
- Demonstrated ability to manage musical arrangements for diverse worship styles
- Prior experience managing musical teams or church choirs within a faith-based nonprofit organization
- Skilled in conducting praise bands or church choirs with excellent communication skills
- Experience mentoring musicians of varying skill levels, providing vocal training, and fostering leadership within music teams
