What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drug Testing Technician position at MT Drug Testing?
Join our team as a Drug Testing Technician! MT Drug Testing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with specimen collection for on and off site drug testing in a professional and confidential manner. Prior experience in specimen collection and DOT certification preferred, will consider a candidate willing and able to become DOT certified. PRN or part- time preference will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients.
- Conduct both independent and observed (when required) collections.
- Collect and process urine specimens.
- Ensure proper documentation and chain of custody procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized collection area
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all company and legal standards.
- Follow all safety and privacy protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
- Previous experience is a plus, but not required—training provided
- Willingness and ability to become DOT certified
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
