Job Description Overview:
· Animal restraint and comfort handling animals in all aspects of the hospital
· Proficient in venipuncture, giving injections, and place IV catheters
· Ability to run in house diagnostics including labs, radiographs, BPs, etc.
· Ability to multitask and educate clients with exceptional communication skills
· Assist with patient care and treatment
· Monitor hospitalized patients during anesthesia and in recovery after surgery
· Maintain inventory and stocking
· Maintain & sterilize surgical instruments/equipment
· Clean/Disinfect cages, kennels, exam and treatment areas of hospital
· Administering medications under Veterinarian supervision
· Help in answering phones when needed
