Mt. Carmel Funeral Home is currently seeking a funeral service assistant for their El Paso, TX location. Mt. Carmel Funeral Home and its staff strive to serve our families and their loved ones with the utmost respect, compassion and care attending to their needs during a difficult time.
Responsibilities:
- Drive hearse or other vehicle as needed during funeral related activities
- Assist funeral director with guiding and assisting families during the funeral service.
- Attend to families/guests during evening services/visitations including directing them to the viewing room/chapel where service is being held
- Providing technical support by ensuring that audio and/or visual setup are in working order for services
- Handle sensitive situations in a professional manner
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent Driving Record
- Bilingual
