Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and energetic Housekeepers to join our team in both full-time and part-time capacities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, or hospitality settings. Your attention to detail and commitment to sanitation will ensure that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and uniforms.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to chemical agent handling, manual handling, and heavy lifting to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment.
• Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and high-touch areas regularly to support healthcare infection prevention and control efforts.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and scrubbers with proficiency.
• Document completed tasks accurately in logs or reports as required by environmental services procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in healthcare facilities housekeeping or commercial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, chemical handling procedures, sanitation practices, and infection prevention protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff, patients, visitors, or clients.
• Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning products used in hospital or healthcare settings.
• Excellent manual handling skills combined with attention to detail for thorough cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance.
