Qualifications:
Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program. The coach must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and, at the same time, must continue to examine new theories and procedures pertinent to the field. The head coach must serve as an appropriate role model for student athletes through his/her instructions and actions.
Certifications
- Valid CHRC
Education
The coach must be at least 20 years of age, or a high school graduate.
Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the sport is preferred as well as knowledge of current coaching techniques and procedures. Knowledge of MPA Rules. Demonstrate ability to instruct and supervise student athletes.
Reports To: Athletic Director / Building Administration
Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District.
Evaluation: Athletic Director
FLSA Status: Exempt/Non-exempt
