Position Summary:
The Miller Therapeutic Pool at Mt Ascutney Hospital is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a part time Aquatic Aide/Trainer position. An aquatic aide would support the clean and orderly working environment in the pool area, and would support and assist in the delivery of therapeutic care of patients as directed by therapy staff. They would provide oversight and direction for a community based aquatic exercise program that may include running aquatic exercise groups, and a safe environment for members during scheduled individual community exercise blocks. This person should have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task and be well organized, and be able to adapt to changes as needed. They should feel comfortable in the water, guiding and directing others in exercise programs as needed.f.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED. CPR certification and Water Safety or Lifesaving Instruction Certification.
Experience: Previous experience of knowledge of the health care field desirable.
