Job Title: Admissions Assistant
Schedule: Day (including weekends)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care facility
Job Duties:
- Assist the Admissions Coordinator in the planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the Admissions programs of the facility
- Review and assess referrals for admission to the facility
- Coordinate admission information with other departments
- Assist residents in completing admission paperwork
- Review and document in the medical record
- Provide a positive and welcoming introduction to the facility for perspective residents and their families
