Job Description:-
- This position must demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and software release life cycle.
- The role involves creating and maintaining Ansible playbooks, troubleshooting automation issues, ensuring consistent and reliable deployments across environments, and collaborating with DevOps and application teams to enhance CI/CD workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible Tower/AWX, YAML, automation best practices, and infrastructure-as-code principles is required.
- Experience with debugging deployments, validating configurations, and improving release reliability is a plus.
- The position will work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application changes.
- This position will interact with the architects, developers, deployment Team, and Database Administrators to ensure automation of various tasks.
- This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends as required to meet business needs.
Skills/Requirements:-
- Experience with automating Linux OS and software patches and upgrades across multiple environments using automations tools like Ansible Required 7 Years
- Hands on Experience (like branching, merging, configuring, and administering) with BitBucket or GIT Source Code Management tool Required 3 Years
- Hands on experience in Automating build/deploy process including changes to database using tools like Ansible Required 7 Years
- Experience developing automation scripts, operational utilities, and workflow scripts using Python/Bash/Shell Required 7 Years
- Experience building and packaging applications with Docker, and managing and scaling containerized workloads using Kubernetes Required 2 Years
- Experience in infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and environment management using Terraform and Ansible Required 4 Years
- Hands on experience developing and managing CI/CD (DevOps) pipeline using tools like Teamcity, Jenkins, Ansible Required 2 Years
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Amazon web Services and infrastructure Highly desired 2 Years
