Job Description

The Client is seeking a candidate with extensive experience creating Tableau dashboards with Microsoft SQL database and other data sources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong sense of ownership and a project management mindset. This role requires the ability to independently create work plans, manage assigned projects and tasks, follow through on deliverables, and produce high-quality dashboards on time. All work must meet internal client expectations as well as supervisor standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing new Tableau dashboards and managing and improving existing Tableau dashboards per the supervisor''s requests.
• Deliver high quality work on time.
• Attend necessary meetings with internal clients and stakeholders on these dashboards to collect input and seek feedback.
• Present on dashboard drafts.
• Take meeting notes and make next-step action plans.
• Document tasks and progress per the supervisor''s instructions.
• Coordinate with IT, Database team, GIS team, data source vendors, and other necessary technical stakeholders to identify data sources, tables, and fields, for the dashboard creation.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Required 5 Years
• BA experience Required 2 Years
• Basic knowledge of business systems analysis, Tableau Dashboard Development Required 2 Years
• Familiar with data analysis, data visualization, dashboard maintenance, report development Required 2 Years
• Understanding requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, technical documentation, process improvement, and work flow analyisis Required 2 Years
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Required 2 Years
