Plant Manager – Extrusion Manufacturing

We are expanding our international manufacturing operations and are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead the launch and operation of our new extrusion manufacturing facility in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a new production site while working closely with our headquarters in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the start-up and daily operations of the new extrusion plant
• Build, manage, and develop the local production team
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost performance
• Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Coordinate production planning, staffing, and operational resources
• Monitor KPIs and prepare regular operational reports for the management team in Germany
• Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Several years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in extrusion manufacturing is required
• Experience with plant start-ups or production ramp-ups is a strong advantage
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Results-driven with a hands-on management style
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent English communication skills
