Maintenance Technician (Travel Options)
Job Description:
- Without direct supervision, provide for the Installation, assembly and repair of equipment, piping and structures related to the building.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and service.
- Be skilled with a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
- Understand instructions and complete repairs and part replacements to the satisfaction of the customer in a timely manner.
- Work effectively with the customer and other team members.
- Submit daily work reports and maintain a written record of the work performed.
- Machine troubleshooting.
- Injection molding.
- Good hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills – must be SKILLED.
- Good blueprint skills.
- Mechanically sound.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in machinery and/or building maintenance.
- Demonstrate competency in one or more of the following trades:
- Structural steel welding.
- Pipefitting and plumbing.
- Millwright and machinery rigging.
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift for an extended period of time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain a valid driver's license.
- Pass periodic observed drug screening.
- Pass a criminal background check.
