This individual will report directly to the Operations Manager.MST Global (MST) provides fit-for-purpose hardware combined with smart software solutions to support productivity and safety processes in underground and surface mines and other industrial applications. MST has been developing, manufacturing, deploying, and supporting mission-critical solutions for over 30 years.With over 600 technology deployments worldwide, our underground digital networks and IoT platforms are embedded in many mines’ production and safety processes. The systems enable voice and data communications, tracking and tagging of personnel and vehicles, emergency evacuation warnings, and proximity detection/collision avoidance systems. This core data is then further analyzed and reported to better manage time and attendance, asset utilization, production measurement, emergency mustering, remote blasting, and geotechnical and environmental monitoring.Primary Job Purpose:The Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronics equipment and assemblies. This role supports the Service Department by ensuring all equipment is restored to proper working condition, documented accurately, and processed efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with electronics repair, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesTest and evaluate electronic equipment, assemblies, and systems to identify faults or performance issues.Troubleshoot failed electronic circuits to the component level using common diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, etc.Perform repairs, part replacements, and adjustments to restore proper operation using a wide variety of precision hand tools, solder, and desolder equipment.Document findings, repairs performed, parts used, and recommendations in the RMA system.Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and industry standards.Assist in continuous improvement of service processes and testing procedures.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEEssential Skills:High school diploma or equivalent.Technical degree or vocational training in electronics technology, communications systems, or related field.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.Experience using electronics test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, continuity testers, etc.).Competent with precision hand tools, soldering equipment, and repair techniques.Preferred:2 years of experience in an electronics repair or service environment.Experience with Windows operating systems and proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
