Key Responsibilities
- Support site operations related to procurement and master production scheduling.
- Perform purchasing activities for goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure optimal terms for the organization.
- Source and onboard suppliers as needed; solicit quotes, issue purchase orders, and manage end-to-end procurement in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate delivery schedules, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Collect and analyze data, compile reports, and track KPIs to support decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, production, sales, logistics, finance, and purchasing teams to address supply chain issues.
- Ensure daily activities adhere to company policies, supply chain compliance, global trade rules, quality standards, cost objectives, government regulations, and ethical standards.
- Coordinate material requirements to maintain a controlled flow of materials and align schedules with production needs; expedite orders and mitigate shortages to support on-time delivery.
- Support Materials Planning and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) activities to align supply with customer demand.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of MS Office experience, particularly Excel (basic to intermediate level).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Buyer, Purchaser, Planner, Expediter, or equivalent role.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and component/material specifications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
