Business Analyst Supervisor
Location: Remote (Candidate must be based within 150 Miles of Topeka, KS)
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst Supervisor to lead a dynamic team of business analysts, developers, and IT professionals. This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, setting priorities, managing system changes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business analysis, team leadership, and IT project management. Occasional trips to Wichita will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise and review the work of analysts, developers, and IT staff
- Direct daily operations, establish priorities, and set performance standards
- Participate in agency-level tactical and strategic planning
Stakeholder Collaboration & Policy Development
- Collaborate with department heads, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues
- Develop and interpret organizational policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and manage IT personnel planning
Project Management & Implementation
- Evaluate technology needs and system requirements
- Assess project feasibility and review system proposals
- Approve system changes prior to implementation
IT Resource Development & Security
- Oversee IT resource planning, data security, and disaster recovery
- Recommend hardware/software upgrades and improvements
- Manage backup systems, security protocols, and user support
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:
- 7–10 years in business analysis
- Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
Education:
