Demolition Specialist/Carpentar

MSP Demolition is a growing company working with top-tier residential general contractors to deliver remodel-ready job sites quickly, precisely, and with low impact so that project teams can hit the ground running.

We are seeking a capable carpenter who takes pride in doing clean, careful work. You will be responsible for carefully removing existing finishes—such as flooring, cabinetry, drywall, and exterior finishes—without damaging surrounding surfaces that are meant to remain. The right candidate is safety-conscious, meticulous, efficient, and able to delegate tasks to assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Removal: Carefully remove interior and exterior finishes (walls, flooring, tiles, cabinets, trim) while protecting finished surfaces.
• Tool Proficiency: Safely operate hand and power tools including circular saws, chipping hammers, reciprocating saws, and hammer drills.
• Site Safety: Implement and monitor strict safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE, managing dust, and identifying potential hazards.
• Site Cleanup: Maintain a spotless and organized job site; handle debris removal and disposal according to company standards.
• Leadership/Coordination: Delegate tasks to laborers, manage the project schedule, and communicate progress to Demo Leads.
• Resource Management: Manage man hours, rental equipment, and roll-off dumpsters to bid amounts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in interior/exterior carpentry.
• Expertise in operating hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail to prevent damage to finished surfaces.
• Ability to delegate tasks and lead a small crew.
• High physical stamina: ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50–75 lbs consistently.
• Reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
