About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing operations in New Jersey. This strategic and hands-on role will partner closely with business leaders to drive talent initiatives, workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and HR operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in recruitment, payroll governance, employee relations, compliance, and immigration processes within a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with business leaders to develop workforce plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Manage high-volume hiring initiatives and staffing ramps during peak business periods.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future business needs.
Payroll Governance & HR Operations
- Serve as the primary HR liaison for payroll administration and governance.
- Ensure accurate payroll inputs, compliance with wage and hour regulations, and timely resolution of payroll-related inquiries.
- Monitor shift differentials, employee data integrity, and payroll processes through ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
- Partner with Finance and Payroll teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Immigration
- Oversee employment verification, I-9 administration, right-to-work documentation, and audit readiness.
- Manage employment-based immigration and visa processes in partnership with legal counsel and external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, including New Jersey labor laws.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Support managers in performance management, corrective actions, coaching, and employee development.
- Promote a culture of fairness, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
HR Business Partnership
- Collaborate with leadership teams to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement initiatives.
- Analyze workforce metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Champion HR programs, policies, and best practices that enhance employee experience and business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Generalist
