MSIG USA is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Microsoft Azure to join our dynamic Cloud Engineering and DevOps Team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions, integrating them with on-premises infrastructure, and driving technical innovation across the organization.

Competitive Compensation Package Includes
Competitive salary commensurate with experience along with a performance-based bonus.
SALARY: The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000 to $230,000 per year. This is a good-faith assessment of the salary range for this position only. In determining the actual salary within this range, MSIG USA will consider a candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors.

This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions, integrating them with on-premises infrastructure, and driving technical innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Design
- Architect, deploy, and manage hybrid cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, VMware, Dell, and Cisco network infrastructure.
- Design and implement Azure-based networking solutions, including virtual networks, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and integration with on-premises systems.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible for automated and consistent platform deployments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Azure vNet and Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) for optimal performance and security across datacenter locations and branch offices.
- Implement and manage robust security measures, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Oversee Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and identity/security policies, including Okta and Entra ID, multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and conditional access.
- Monitor and optimize cloud and network systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions with Azure Backup and Site Recovery.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and cost optimization across Azure subscriptions and resources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, system administrators, managed service providers, security professionals) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud, datacenter, and branch office network-related issues.
- Mentor and train junior team members on cloud and networking technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud, on-premise datacenter, and network architectures, configurations, and procedures.
- Lead architecture reviews and contribute to the MSIG’s Azure Engineering Design Guide.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of IT infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on Azure cloud experience.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification (AZ-305) or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience with large-scale cloud migrations and hybrid environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) with Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Experience with container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Security models.
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with cost management and optimization in Azure.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (HIPAA, ISO, SOC2).
