Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officers to join our team in Bloomington Indiana, In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. Your contributions will uphold our mission of providing exceptional security services with integrity and vigilance.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.

• Respond promptly to incidents, taking appropriate action.
• Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized access.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to resolve incidents.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents.
• Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potential issues.
• Secure location's facilities and property maintaining a visual presence.
• Document and report any incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Patrolling assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter crime and ensure safety.
• Guarding access points like entrances, lobbies, and gates.
• Enforcing rules and regulations or the property.
• Managing crowds and directing traffic.
• Reporting criminal activity to law enforcement.
• May require operating security screening equipment (in some roles).

Proven experience in law enforcement or military service.

• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security protocols.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and loss prevention practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Security Officer preferred but not required.
• De-escalation, written and verbal communication, and problem - solving skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK!
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREENING!!
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.

Schedule:

• Variable Schedule: This Part-time security position requires a flexible schedule to meet operational needs. Hours will vary across days, evenings, weekends, and may include holidays.
• On-Call Availability: This position may require on-call availability for additional coverage during peak times or emergencies.

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Overnight shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift
• Overnight Shift

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
