Summary
MSI Security is seeking a dedicated Security Officer specializing in pharmaceutical security to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in safeguarding our clients' assets and ensuring a secure environment aligned with our mission of vigilance and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Access Control: Verifying credential, managing visitor logs, and securing restricted area.
- Patrols & Surveillance: Conducting regular patrols to deter criminal activity, identify hazards, and monitor suspicious behavior.
- Asset Protection: Securing high-value materials, controlled substances, and intellectual property from theft or tampering.
- Compliance Support: Helping maintain adherence to pharmaceutical regulations through documentation and oversight.
- Incident Response: Handling emergencies, breaches, or disturbances calmly and professionally, coordinating with staff and external responders.
- Supply Chain Security: Securing loading docks, warehouses, and monitoring cargo flow to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Documentation: Maintaining detailed log of activities, incidents, and observations.
Role:
- Respond promptly to incidents, taking appropriate action.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV systems to prevent unauthorized access.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed during emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to resolve incidents.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents.
- Engage in conflict management to de-escalate potential issues.
- Secure location's facilities and property maintaining a visual presence.
- Document and report any incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Patrolling assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter crime and ensure safety.
- Guarding access points like entrances, lobbies, and gates.
- Enforcing rules and regulations or the property.
- Managing crowds and directing traffic.
- Reporting criminal activity to law enforcement.
- May require operating security screening equipment (in some roles).
Qualifications
- Applicants MUST HAVE a proven experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement .
- Applicants MUST HAVE a valid driver's license.
- Applicants MUST be able to pass an extensive background check
- Applicants MUST be able to pass a drug screen (Zero Tolerance)
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR.
- Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems.
- Excellent conflict management abilities.
- Ability to remain vigilant and attentive during long shifts.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- MUST be able to work in outdoor environments and sit/stand for long periods of time.
