Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) – Long-Term Care Leadership Opportunity
Full-Time, Muskogee, Oklahoma
MSI Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department in a skilled nursing and long-term care facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a food service leader who is passionate about resident satisfaction, regulatory excellence, and team development. You will oversee all aspects of dietary operations while making a meaningful impact on the daily lives of our residents.
What You'll Do
- Lead all dietary department operations, including food production, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and staffing
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, sanitation, food safety, and HACCP regulations
- Develop and maintain menus, policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives
- Hire, train, coach, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff
- Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and departmental performance
- Participate in survey preparation and regulatory compliance activities
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian, nursing team, and facility leadership
- Manage food costs and vendor relationships while maintaining exceptional meal quality
Qualifications
- Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification REQUIRED
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience in healthcare food service
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutrition standards, and long-term care regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems
- Must pass required background, drug screening, and health screening requirements
