Job Description: ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Follow the receiving standards by receiving product Create complete receiving and shipping transactions Completing all daily shipping and receiving responsibilities Assisting manager in receiving/shipping team Maintain weekly and monthly shipping/receiving reports Preparing and shipping sales orders Perform all activities of the shipping/receiving department Determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules Maintain shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory level Prepare routine reports and file shipping/receiving records Maintain the inventory of shipping products Fill order shipments and pack orders for shipping Unload incoming shipments from trucks Assist in resolving any daily shipping and receiving discrepancies. Perform additional duties as assigned by management CAPABILITY PROFILE Minimum Qualification/Skills Ability to work overtime as needed - Essential Ability to safely operate a forklift - Desirable Attention to detail - Essential Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules - Essential Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions - Essential Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions - Essential Ability to use automated inventory control equipment as required. - Essential Have appropriate eye, hand, and foot coordination to properly use various equipment and/or tools. - Essential Ability to manually load/unload, lift/move equipment/product which may weigh up to 100 pounds - Essential Ability to mount and dismount forklift through the duration of the shift which requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, climbing, and stooping - Essential Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift. - Essential MSI Express is an equal opportunity employer.
