The Inventory Control Clerk will report to the Logistics Manager. This position requires a full-time work week spent in the shop in Mooresville, NC. Normal hours are Monday through Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Flexibility to work additional hours as required to meet project deadlines is expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Receiving incoming inventory.
- Pulling components for new orders from Sales Order Picking Lists accurately and on time.
- Delivery of parts onto the Production Floor.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock movement, inventory levels, and discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Other tasks as directed by the Logistics Manager.
- Cross training with shipping and receiving for purposes of coverage in the event of absence or attrition.
- This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager.
- High School Diploma/GED required, associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
- Familiarity with automotive and mechanical parts.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks unassisted, or with little assistance with accuracy.
- Ability to effectively operate a computer and understand the Shop Floor Manager software and adhere to the discipline of the systems used per the instruction from management.
- Minimum of 2 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate problems and issues to the appropriate level of management to resolve issues
- Strong organizational skills: attention to detail is a must
- Accuracy in work assignments and a strong work ethic as a part of a team.
- Must be able to verify U.S. Person Status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, routinely lifting, and carrying parts and equipment up to 55 pounds.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
