What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Maintenance position at MSI CORPORATION?
Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone to join our team that can do a little bit of everything.
- Must be able to pass a physical and pre-employment drug testing
- Must have basic hand tools abilities.
- Assist maintenance with preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Works alongside maintenance to ensure vehicles and equipment are safe for use.
- Basic maintenance laborer duties include but are not limited to painting, facilities clean up, organizing scrap, and moving empty and full barrels.
- Assist with preparing scrap metal - Welding or Touch experience a plus.
- Clears away any snow, slush, or ice from in front of the employee entrance.
- Must be able to complete tasks safely and efficiently and be reliable.
- Cooperate with others when in a team environment.
- Accept direction from supervisors.
- Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand job/order specifications.
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance a plus
