We serve the legal community across complex commercial disputes, shareholder actions, matrimonial cases, and fiduciary matters, delivering defensible, expert-level analysis in high-stakes proceedings.
We are seeking a Forensic Accounting Associate to contribute innovative problem-solving abilities to our team of passionate forward-thinkers. This individual will work closely with attorneys, judges, and legal professionals to analyze financial data and support complex litigation and valuation matters.
Full-Time · In-Person · Monday–Friday, 8:30AM–6PM
Responsibilities
• Review financial data to identify inaccuracies and trace discrepancies
• Perform penetrative forensic analyses of historical financial information
• Prepare independent expert reports for complex litigation and valuation matters
• Provide litigation support and present findings to be used as trial evidence
• Review revenue and expense projections
• Assess losses and potential damage awards
• Work closely with attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals
Required Qualifications
Education/Credentials
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license, or actively pursuing with at least 2 of 4 sections passed
• Certification in forensic accounting, business valuation, or fraud (CFE, CVA, ABV, or similar)
Experience
• 2 years of experience in a boutique forensic accounting firm or forensic practice within a mid- to large-sized accounting firm
• 3 years of audit experience
Skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction
• Creative approach to problem solving with mature analytical ability
• Sound judgment in key decisions and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools
