Position Overview:

MSE Supplies LLC is seeking a highly driven Product Manager to lead and expand our Material Science portfolio focused on consumables such Crystals, OpticsWafers and equipment including arc melters, melt spinners, coating equipmentPVD systems. This role is designed for a technically strong and business-oriented professional who is passionate about bridging scientific innovation with commercial success. As a key member of the Product Management team, you will influence the direction of our product strategy, drive sales growth, and support global customers in achieving breakthrough research outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the business performance of a defined portfolio of lab products, including sales enablement, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Drive technical sales efforts, leveraging deep product knowledge to position MSE Supplies as a trusted solutions partner.
  • Engage with key accounts to build long-term relationships, negotiate contracts, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Conduct customer-focused demonstrations and presentations, using real-world applications to highlight value and accelerate purchase decisions.
  • Deliver pre-sales supportguidance, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and operations to align product strategy with company growth objectives.
  • Act as a voice of the customer, gathering market intelligence and feedback to influence product development and service enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline required (Materials ScienceEngineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry preferred). Advanced degree (MS or PhD) strongly preferred.
  • Sales, marketing or hands on laboratory experience with Crystals, OpticsWafers and equipment including arc melters, melt spinners, coating equipmentPVD systems.
  • 3 years of laboratory R&D sales experience, ideally in materials science, chemistry, or biotech.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment, consumables, and analytical techniques relevant to research and product development.
  • Proven ability to translate technical expertise into sales success through consultative engagement and customer education.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong business acumen and results-driven approach.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing science through technology.
