What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional (Southwood Elementary) position at MSD of Wabash County Schools?
The Paraprofessional is to support the classroom teacher in meeting the needs of all students. Dependent upon assignment, this may be working directly in a classroom, supervision duties, and/or working one-on-one with a student or small group of students. This assignment is for Pre-K-Kindergarten grades.
Job Requirements include having an understanding of students with varying academics, behavioral and social needs, the ability to work in a team environment, and have positive communication skills.
Applicant must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and must pass the paraprofessional basic competency test or have a minimum of 48 semester hours of college credits.
