What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Custodian position at MSD of Mt. Vernon?
Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of custodial duties with the mechanical ability to operate custodial mechanical equipment. Ability to lift and/or carry weights of 100 pounds or more in moving equipment, furniture, and materials. Ability to work effectively in a school building and outdoor environment being exposed to all types of weather.
Maintain the school building facility property in a condition of cleanliness, safety, neatness, and aesthetic attractiveness and to assist, when needed, in the daily routine duties of maintaining the school facilities and provide for efficient operations necessary so that the best educational use can be made of the facilities at all times, as well as duties of a general nature which may need attention.
Hours: Substitute on-call
