Anticipated Assistant Athletic Director

This position is interim only for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Job goals: • To assist in the coordination and supervision of athletic programs at NMS (Noble Middle School) and NHS (Noble High School), with primary responsibilities at the sub-varsity/middle school levels: • To help ensure the safety of all athletes • To help improve coaching skills and knowledge • To promote the skill development of young athletes • To promote athletic participation Typical work year: 220 days Performance Responsibilities: • Attend and effectively represent Noble at middle school athletic administrator meetings and functions • Ensure that student-athletes have fully completed all necessary sign-up steps for athletics prior to participation at NMS • Perform the academic eligibility check of athletes pursuant to the NMHS Student-Athlete Handbook • Maintain, Distribute, Collect, and Store athletic uniforms and equipment • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of buses for away contests • Assist with athletic disciplinary infractions • Assist in the hiring, supervision, and evaluation of coaches • Assist with the coordination of middle school officials • Communicate effectively with all those associated with athletics • Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic, behavioral concerns with NMS student-athletes • Provide supervision at assigned athletic events - including: Properly setting up fields of play, when applicable or necessary - Ensuring the safety of all persons in attendance - Welcoming opposing teams, coaches, and officials (working with Arbiter/assignors of officials) - Securing and assisting game workers - Monitoring athlete and fan behavior • All other duties assigned by the District Athletic Director
