Responsibilities
Step 1: Define Internship Goals & Requirements
Before beginning recruitment, it’s important to outline the key details of the internship:
- Role & Responsibilities: Outline what the intern will be working on (e.g., design projects, market research, product development, etc.), including key tasks and expected deliverables. Update all Approval label files from Nicelabel 5 or 6 to Nicelabel 10.
- Qualifications: Identify the desired academic background, coursework, technical skills, relevant extracurricular activities or previous internship experience that will set candidates up for success. IT – computer skills a must. Will be navigating MSA shared drive files – updating to new software platform and saving into a Service dept repository. Strict adherence to the label file drawing must be followed/maintained to Eng Documentation.
- Duration & Structure: Decide if this is a summer internship, semester-long co-op, or a year-round role. It is estimated that this project take 1-2 months so Summer intern. Really need this to happen summer 2025! Training of what is required and oversight of work to be reviewed by Test Eng (Nick Stewart) and Service Leadership (Myself/Vicki/Lori).
- Measurable Outcomes: Set clear performance goals and learning objectives that will help evaluate success and provide meaningful experiences for the intern. Clear objective is to get all revisions of the various product approval labels updated to the new Nicelabel 10 platform
- Compensation: Is this role budgeted for and re-confirmed with the finance team? Cost Information: We have the budget for this in our US150381 cost center
- Billing to Adecco: Students are billed through the third-party agency Adecco. They handle the onboarding and billing of all student interns and co-ops. Manager
- Mentor
- Time Approver: This can be either the manager or the mentor. This field determines who the bill from Adecco will be sent to weekly for approvals.
