Responsibilities:
- Entry level position responsible for providing technical engineering support and project
- Create drawings that comply with industry standards, safety regulations and customer
- Assist in management of project deliverables, approvals and resubmittals.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to design, implement and
- Review engineering plans, specifications and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing projects or new systems.
- Proficient in the use of tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Interact with M&C Production Manager and Assembly Technicians to support Ventura
- Proficient with verbal and written communication with internal colleagues and external
- Occasional travel to customer facilities for commissioning assistance and troubleshooting may be
- Climbing of ladders, stairs and customer structures in a safe environment at substantial heights
Education Required:
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology, Computer Engineering technology from an ABET accredited program.
This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:
- Level one (Engineering Technician I): no relevant experience
- Level two (Engineering Technician II): 2 years relevant experience
- Level three (Engineering Technician III): 5 years relevant experience
Experience Preferred:
- Experience with CAD software's such as AutoCAD/SOLIDWORKS is a plus.
