Role Description
This is a full-time on site role located in Crystal Lake, IL for the position of Mechanical Project Engineer. The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee mechanical engineering design, ensure the integration of mechanical systems within building frameworks, and collaborate on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) system projects. Additional responsibilities include Revit profeciency , managing projects, and providing technical expertise during all project phases, including planning, execution, and commissioning. Some overnight travel required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering expertise with a strong understanding of Mechanical and Plumbing systems
- Proficiency in Revit modeling software for developing HVAC and plumbing system designs
- Skills in Project Engineering and Project Management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaborative skills to lead cross-disciplinary efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred
- Experience with construction administration, site supervision, and system commissioning is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
