Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN for a Fleet Manager. The Fleet Manager will oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring vehicle and driver compliance with DOT regulations, maximizing fleet efficiency, and optimizing overall operational performance. Responsibilities include maintaining fleet management systems, analyzing cost-per-mile metrics, managing driver schedules, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and implementing safety protocols. Additionally, the Fleet Manager will be responsible for developing strategies to improve operations and streamline logistics coordination.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fleet Management, Fleet Operations, and Operations Management
- Strong knowledge of DOT Regulations to ensure compliance and safety management
- Excellent Analytical Skills for cost-per-mile analysis and improving operational efficiency
- Ability to lead operational initiatives and streamline logistics coordination processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in fleet management systems and related technology
- Experience in the transportation or logistics sector is beneficial
