Nurse Team Lead - ADON Nurse IV

First-level Nurse Manager/Supervisor accountable for directing nursing services and oversight and review of work and documentation of subordinate and specialist personnel. Supervises, plans and schedules the delivery of nursing services to several units and/or wards in a patient care setting. Assumes responsibility for carrying out several nursing programs in a public health setting.

Typically requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2-4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

· Infection control

· Quality Improvement monthly reports

· Quality Assurance quarterly reports

· Implements Quality Assurance

· Monitors plan of correction and follow up for survey and areas of improvement

· Tracking Nurse Licensing

· PDA/PRS of nursing staff

· Creates on call calendar

· Smart charting compliance

· EMAR/ETAR charting compliance

· Tracks and maintains logs e.g. temperature logs, cleaning, etc.

· Monthly and prn rounds on halls

· Emergency cart Upkeep

· On call as scheduled

· Work a medication cart as needed

Some duties maybe interchangeable
