Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs with precision and care
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic mechanical repairs
- Assist customers by explaining service options and recommending appropriate solutions for their vehicles
- Use hand tools, power tools, and alignment equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Diagnose automotive issues using basic diagnostics tools and mechanical knowledge
- Handle heavy lifting safely when working with tires, wheels, and vehicle components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Prior dealership or automotive service shop experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on mechanic experience with standard passenger cars and light trucks
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, fluid replacement, oil changes, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of tire service including mounting, balancing, and repair techniques
- Experience with alignment procedures and minor mechanical vehicle repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment
- Strong customer service skills combined with sales ability to recommend services confidently
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual tasks throughout the workday
