About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Accounting to lead our accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial operations. This leader will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, audits, and accounting team development while partnering closely with executive leadership to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and relationships with auditors and financial partners.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and board-level presentations.
- Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and ERP optimization to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, building a high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required; MBA preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing audits and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

- Multi-entity or high-growth company experience.
- ERP implementation or system optimization projects.
- Experience supporting executive leadership and board reporting.

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
