Join us at The Green Room 42 for “For the Yearners”, a cabaret experience for those who love digging into deep feelings! Musical theatre asks us to romanticize some of our deepest, most complex feelings. We often see characters working through emotions with a rosy overlay of song and dance. Where songs like: “Finishing the Hat” from Sunday in the Park With George, “When he Sees Me” from Waitress, and “Go the Distance” from Hercules will capture iconic moments of saying your hearts desire aloud. Performers and audience alike will be able to dive deep into a night of songs. You will experience songs yearning for love, fortune, fame, and big dreams. For one night: we’re saying them all out loud in one place. Join us for For the Yearners at Green Room 42 Produced by Madi Spear with co-producer Kiera Matthews.Performers must be available on September 23rd at 9:30pm with a mandatory sound check from 3-4:15PM. There will be one rehearsal the weekend before and other rehearsals subject to cast availability.
